The South Shore Resort was originally built in 1909. The main lodge was first introduced as a hotel and over the century progressed into what it is today! Hi, I’m Mary Tobin, I just recently purchased South Shore Resort in August, 2022.
I am a native Michigander born on the East side of the state. I migrated West in 2007 when I took over our family Resort on Big Blue Lake in Muskegon County. Prior to that I lived overseas with my now ex-husband and our two boys for 10 years in Japan, Germany and England and finally landing back in Ann Arbor Michigan in 2007. I have an Events Planning background both Corporate and privately and absolutely love helping people make those beautiful memories that will last a lifetime!!!

The newly renovated Sandpiper Inn has seating for 75 and would be the perfect venue for your next events. Located on beautiful Twin Lake in Twin Lake, Michigan, come enjoy 110 feet of private sandy beach front along with the use of the canoes, kayaks, row boats, fire pits, volleyball net, shuffle board, basketball hoop, bikes, a children’s playground, gas grills, smart TVs, WIFI, game room, and more.
